Abdul Dosunmu (he/him/his)
Advisor for Leadership and Philanthropic Advocacy, Donors of Color Network

Abdul Dosunmu is a civil rights lawyer and movement builder, working across sectors to catalyze impact in racial justice. He is the founder and executive director of the Young Black Lawyers' Organizing Coalition (YBLOC) and a former appointee of President Barack Obama to the U.S. Department of Transportation. At the Donors of Color Network, Abdul serves as advisor for leadership and philanthropic advocacy, leading the network's Climate Funders Justice Pledge, a campaign to move the nation’s top climate funders to equitably resource BIPOC-led and-serving climate justice movements. He holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from NYU School of Law.

As CEO of Just Futures, George brings nearly three decades experience in the financial services industry holding leadership positions in global finance, investments, strategy, and operations over the course of his career. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton and completed his Master of Business Administration at New York University. He was selected and served as a David Rockefeller Fellow, collaborating with public, private, and not-for-profit leaders to build a more effective dynamic between the business and civic sectors. George currently calls San Francisco home where he resides with his wife and two mystery mutts. In his spare time, he enjoys indulging his creative side through photography and videography.

High Net Wealth Program Manager, Resource Generation

Sahana Mehta (she/her) is a South Asian organizer living in NYC. She is currently the High Net Wealth Program Manager at Resource Generation, a donor network of young people with wealth & class privilege working towards the equitable redistribution of land, wealth, and power. Politicized in 2013 through racial justice movements in the US and educational equity initiatives in India, Sahana has since engaged with a number of intersecting social justice movements. Her work in South Asian communities has focused on challenging the rise of Hindu Nationalism in the diaspora, advocating for caste equity across the US, and supporting diasporic gender justice infrastructure. Sahana has worked with internationally-focused gender justice organizations including MADRE, Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights, and Grassroots Global Justice Alliance to resource movements around the world and challenge dominant philanthropic paradigms. Sahana is one of the creators of the digital and physical archives for Andolan Organizing South Asian Workers, a South Asian domestic worker-led organization in NYC.
